Ex-auto property sells for $380K in Hamden

The former Scarpo Motors property in Hamden has sold for $380,000, according to The Proto Group of North Haven.

Sajjad Chaudhary purchased the .32 acre property at 1525 Dixwell Ave. from Henry Scarpo. It includes two buildings of 2,263 and 1,900 square feet, respectively.

The Proto Group brokered the sale. The new owner plans to use the property for an auto repair and used car sales business.

Trumbull Lofts gets $39.6M in financing

Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate Group said it has provided $39.6 million in financing to Trumbull Developers LLC to develop the Trumbull Lofts luxury apartment complex in Trumbull.

The project will include 202 one- and two-bedroom apartments in five separate four-story buildings on Oakview Drive.

Amenities will include a resort-style pool and deck with Wi-Fi, an outdoor lounge, fire pit and community grill, catering kitchen, fitness facility, dog washing station, loaner bicycles and a clubhouse.
