Two long-time executives at Accounting Resources Inc. have bought the Glastonbury-based accounting and human resources outsourcing firm from owner Ray Noeker.
ARI said Tony Allen and Anthony Zambrello will now carry the titles CEO and chief operating officer, respectively. Meanwhile, Noeker will remain on as a consultant and continue supporting existing clients.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Allen was a partner in a team of investors that purchased ARI in 2007. He has served on the Connecticut Technology Council’s board of directors for 20 years.
Zambrello has worked for ARI for the past 10 years.
In a statement, Allen credited Noeker for growing the firm over the years.
“During this tumultuous year, the team at ARI has helped so many clients navigate a rapidly changing business environment, by securing critical government loans that enabled them to weather the pandemic,” Allen said. “We look forward to continuing to partner with clients to help them.”
