Fine Fettle is opening its newest adult-use cannabis dispensary in Old Saybrook this week, the company’s fifth retail shop in the state.
Fine Fettle’s new storefront, located at 233 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, opens for business Friday, Jan. 19. The new store, Fine Fettle’s fifth in Connecticut, is the first dispensary in Old Saybrook and will serve recreational customers.
Due to zoning requirements laid out by Old Saybrook officials, customers must make an online appointment for in-store visits, Fine Fettle officials said. Delivery service will be available at the shop at launch and is available to residents in Branford, Chester, Clinton, East Haddam, East River, Essex, Guilford, Haddam, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook.
The store will be Fine Fettle’s second equity joint venture, meaning the company is partnering with a qualified social equity applicant for the business. Fine Fettle opened the state’s first equity joint venture cannabis dispensary in Manchester in February 2023.
Fine Fettle officials declined to disclose the name of their Old Saybrook social equity partner “due to the safety of the partners.”
