Former Beacon Light & Supply building in Hartford sells for $655K

CoStar Beacon Light & Supply building on Walnut Street in Hartford.

A Manchester construction company recently paid $655,000 for the former Beacon Light & Supply building on Walnut Street in Hartford.

Alberca Construction Co. LLC purchased the warehouse at 180 Walnut St., from the Beacon Light and Supply Company of Manchester.

Victor Alberca of Manchester is the owner of Alberca Construction. Robert and Jennifer Halligan of Middletown are the principals of Beacon Light and Supply.

The warehouse has 17,979 square feet and the sale includes 0.76 acres of land.

The building was on the market for 169 days and sold at slightly above the $649,000 asking price.

The structure was built in 1960 and has a concrete foundation and a steel frame.

Kenny Rodrigues of eXp Commercial in Stamford represented the buyer and Jeff Culmore of William Raveis of Old Saybrook represented the seller.
