FOX61 appoints news director
FOX61 announced that Terry Wood has been named news director for WTIC, TEGNA’s FOX affiliate in Hartford, effective Aug. 19.
Wood will oversee all news and content operations and lead the station’s strategic vision for growing audience and ratings.
Wood joins WTIC from WGBA/WACY TV (NBC) in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he has been assistant news director. He also served as news director with KMID/KPEJ TV, Midland Odessa, Texas (ABC/FOX) from 2020 to 2023.
