Foxwoods Resort Casino reported slot revenue of $28.4 million for the month of May, slightly below the previous month’s haul.
As a result, it will make a $7.1 million payment to the state based on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement.
Foxwoods reported slot revenue of $29.7 million for the month of April 2022, resulting in a $7.4 million direct payment to the state.
Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited more than $4.5 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund.
Last month, Foxwoods hosted Country Weekend, a celebration of country stars, including Big & Rich, LeAnn Rimes, Alabama and Larry the Cable Guy, along with a whiskey-themed saloon night and a barbeque cookout.
The Foxwoods Broadway Series made its return with Fiddler on the Roof. There were also comedy shows including Michael Carbonaro: Lies on Stage and Nikki Glaser.
This month, Foxwoods is continuing its 30th anniversary celebrations with June T-Shirt Tuesdays. Guests have the chance to take home a special edition T-shirt every Tuesday for the rest of the month and will be automatically entered to win prizes.
June performances include comedians Nick Swardson, Trevor Noah and Sal Vulcano. On Wednesday, characters from the TV show “The Masked Singer” will perform at Foxwoods’ Premier Theatre.
Also, Foxwoods' Hip Hop Remix will feature Busta Rhymes, Lloyd Banks, Juvenile and Mase.
