Frontier Airlines has announced a new nonstop route between Hartford’s Bradley International Airport and Miami.
The twice-weekly flights will begin in February 2025.
Frontier also has routes from Bradley to Orlando and Tampa in Florida, as well as Atlanta, Raleigh-Durham, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Denver-based Frontier specializes in no-frills, low-cost flights. It says it will offer even lower introductory fares when the route debuts.
“Thanks to Frontier Airlines for their continued investment at Bradley International Airport,” said Kevin A. Dillon, the executive director of the Connecticut Airport Authority. “We look forward to their growth and a strengthened partnership with the addition of nonstop service to Miami.”
Frontier has recently been on a growth track, carrying 8.8 million passengers on its domestic flights nationwide in the third quarter, an increase of 15% year-over-year, with the airline deploying 4% more capacity.
