Frontier Communications has selected a new chief financial officer, Scott Beasley, who will join the Norwalk-based telecommunications company on June 14.
Beasley will report directly to President and CEO Nick Jeffery.
Beasley succeeds Sheldon Bruha, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, but will assist with the transition.
According to Jeffery, Beasley will work to help transform Frontier into a modern technology company.
“Frontier has a newly strengthened balance sheet and Scott brings considerable experience in corporate finance that will be critical as we invest in building our high-speed Fiber network,” Jeffery said.
Beasley most recently served as chief financial officer of Arcosa, Inc., a North American provider of infrastructure products and services.
Jeffery thanked Bruha for his contributions over the past three years.
“Sheldon played a key role in Frontier’s successful emergence from bankruptcy, including leading the company’s critical balance sheet restructuring,” Jeffery said.
John Harrobin
Meanwhile, John Harrobin joined the company in early June as executive vice president, consumer. Harrobin also reports to Jeffery.
Harrobin was most recently chief marketing officer of Amazon subsidiary Audible, an audiobook and podcast streaming service. In his new role, he is responsible for all aspects of Frontier’s consumer business, including products, marketing, digital analytics, sales/distribution, and go-to-market strategy.
