The owners of Gale Toyota won approval from the Enfield Planning and Zoning Commission for a remodel of the showroom and dealership at 50 Palomba Drive.
The application, by 50 Palomba LLC and principal Robert A. Green, first went to the town’s Inland Wetlands agency then Planning and Zoning where plans were approved at a meeting in mid-December.
The remodel will require a demolition of the existing 12,400-square-foot main building that includes a showroom and dealership offices, which was built in 1975.
The new facility will be two stories with nearly 30,000 square feet on the main level and 3,000 square feet on the second level.
A temporary showroom will sit on the 2.7-acre site during the redevelopment work.
