Glastonbury home improvement contractor opening new shoreline location

A Glastonbury-based home improvement business is opening a second location in Clinton.
Turner Home Improvement Contractors said the new location at 5 Heritage Park Road will allow it to better serve its growing number of clients on the shoreline.
There has been a significant increase in demand for residential and large community projects along the shore in recent years, the company said.
“We’ve been searching for the right shoreline location for several years, and Clinton is the perfect fit – centrally located and easily accessible,” said Corey Turner, managing member of the business.
Turner provides a variety of exterior home improvement services, including roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, gutters and carpentry.
The new office is under construction and is expected to open in 2025. The 10,000-square-foot facility will have a loading dock for receiving direct shipments, which will help streamline the company’s supply chain, Turner said.
Also, there will be a showroom allowing customers to see and feel the materials being used on their projects.
The family-owned business, now in its third generation, was founded 70 years ago.
