GM2 provides consulting engineering services in support of the maintenance and new development of municipal and state infrastructure within the transportation, marine, rail and aviation markets.

Tell us a bit about your recent accomplishments.

GM2 recently celebrated its 2021 CT Society of Civil Engineers Award for Excellence with Innovation in Civil Engineering for the rehabilitation of the I-91 bridge over Amtrak in New Haven and a 2022 ACEC-NH Engineering Excellence Silver Award for its Route 117 and Route 28 Roundabout in Ossipee, New Hampshire.

How has your company shifted its strategy during the pandemic?

GM2 immediately executed a plan to have staff work remotely. In doing so, staff members were provided the necessary equipment and furniture, as needed, to work from home in an as ergonomic manner as possible. After the initial six-month period, staff experiencing difficulty working from home were provided private offices to maximize individual safety.

What are your family values and how do they contribute to your business success?

The health and safety of family is first and foremost. The innate desire to assist others in their personal growth and help those in times of need stems from that foundation. In all that we do, we intend to honor our belief that no enterprise truly thrives if it fails to treat people as they should be treated, or if it compromises the quality of its professional work.

Where do you see your business in the next five years?

We intend to establish the firm within the state of Florida while continuing to provide a high level of service to our existing Northeast clients. We plan to grow in creativity, continue to enhance our internal communications and standards and develop the firm’s future leaders.
