Golf club fitter debuts near Hartford’s Golfers’ Warehouse

Golfers’ Warehouse has new competition in the South End of Hartford. 

Club Champion, a custom golf club fitter based in Chicago, says it’s opened a new, 3,500-square-foot studio at 300 Murphy Road. The studio is located within a half mile from Golfers’ Warehouse on Brainard Road.

The Murphy Road site marks Club Champion’s first location in Connecticut.

The company, which operates more than 70 fitting studios across the U.S., fits, sells and builds custom golf clubs for customers using brands including Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Titleist, Cobra, Fujikura and Golf Pride, among others.

Its new Hartford studio features two indoor hitting bays with launch monitors, a putting analysis system and a build shop for repairing and assembling golf clubs.

Founded in 2010, Club Champion has also expanded throughout the Northeast with locations in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
