Dutch Point Credit Union Inc. is planning to relocate its main office headquarters.
The $476.9 million-asset credit union has asked permission to relocate its main Wethersfield office at 195 Silas Deane Highway to 1295 Silas Deane Highway, in Wethersfield, according to the Connecticut Department of Banking.
If approved, the relocation will occur sometime next year, according to the banking department.
Dutch Point is one of the state’s largest credit unions by asset size. It has about 24,000 members and seven branches mostly in Greater Hartford, including Berlin, Bloomfield, Niantic, Newington, Middletown and Waterford.
It closed a West Hartford branch in June, according to its website.
Throught the first six months of 2023, Dutch Point reported $1.4 million in net income, up from $884,024 in the year-ago period, according to National Credit Union Administration data.
