Guilford Savings names new directors

Camille Murphy

At its Feb. 18 meeting, the board of directors of Guilford Savings Bank unanimously voted to add Corporator Camille Murphy and Executive Vice President Kyle Eagleson to the board of directors, effective immediately.

Murphy is founder of Murphy & Co. CPAs in Branford. She began her career with Deloitte in 1977, opened her first CPA firm in 1982, and has been a partner/founder in multiple firms. She chairs the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce and serves on numerous non-profit boards.

Kyle Eagleson

Eagleson joined Guilford Savings in 2008 and serves as its first executive vice president and chief financial officer. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, he is pursuing an MBA in finance from Quinnipiac University. The Guilford resident is past chair of the Guilford Foundation and treasurer of the Guilford Fund for Education.

Halsey Associates has promoted Peter J. Secrist of Fairfield to senior vice president and senior portfolio manager. Secrist joined the company in March 2019. Before that he was SVP and senior portfolio manager at Northern Trust for more than eight years. He was graduated from St. Lawrence University and earned an MBA in finance and investments from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado. A division of Washington Trust Wealth Management, Halsey Associates is an SEC-registered investment adviser headquartered in New Haven.

Diane Kozel has joined NDC Corp. in Plainville. She will lead business-development and marketing efforts in the health-care, corporate, education, retail and non-profit segments for the commercial construction firm. Before joining NDC Kozel led business development for FIP Construction in Farmington and was director of marketing for Fletcher Thompson. She attended Western Connecticut State University.

Brenda Watson has been named a director of the Connecticut Green Bank by House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz (D-30). Watson is executive director of the non-profit Operation Fuel Inc. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Memorial University and a master’s in public policy from Trinity College.
