Hartford Athletic announce home opener date

The Hartford Athletic’s opening home game has been set for Saturday, May 15, according to a statement from the team.

The Athletic, which plays at Dillon Stadium, will host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

The Athletic will play their first game on the road on Friday, April 30, when they will travel to face the New York Red Bulls II. It will mark the first regular season match for the Athletic’s new head coach, Harry Watling.

Team officials said their full regular season and postseason schedules will be made available in the coming weeks.

The Hartford Athletic competes in the United Soccer League.
