Hartford Federal Credit Union has completed significant renovations to its office in Stafford.
Company officials said the branch has an entirely new floorplan, with updated furnishings and decor, including a wall mural depicting the historic Warren Woolen Co. Mill in town. The building’s exterior was redone with brick, and the parking lot has been reconfigured to accommodate more parking spaces and improve traffic flow.
“There is a long-standing credit union presence in the Stafford community,” said President and CEO Ed Danek, Jr. “With all the recent bank consolidation in the area, our investment as well as renewed commitment to the community has generated enormous positive feedback from people in the greater Stafford area.”
The Stafford office, located at 70 W. Stafford Road, was the former headquarters of the Workers’ Federal Credit Union, which was acquired by Hartford Federal Credit Union in 2018.
Hartford Federal Credit Union has its main office on Asylum Avenue in Hartford. It also maintains branches in Newington, Simsbury and South Windsor and ATMs at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford and Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford.
