The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has named new appointments to its board of directors.
Andrew Worthington has been elected to serve as chair of the volunteer board of directors, succeeding Theodore “Ted” Sergi. Worthington is the CEO and managing director of Long River Wealth Management, a 12-person wealth management team with UBS Financial Services.
Mark Overmyer-Velázquez, university campus director for UConn’s Hartford campus, was elected to serve as vice chair of the foundation’s board, and Marlene Ibsen, CEO and president of the Travelers Foundation and vice president of community relations for The Travelers Cos. Inc., was reappointed treasurer.
