Hartford Taste returns this summer with new vendors

Hartford Taste, the city’s two-day event featuring food, music and art, will return to Constitution Plaza June 9 and June 10.

There will be more than 30 restaurants, 30 musical acts and several artists. Property and casualty insurer The Hartford will again cover the cost of vendor fees so that restaurants may participate for free. Proceeds benefit Connecticut Foodshare.

“The Hartford has a proud history of supporting the city of Hartford, which we’ve called home for 213 years,” said Stephanie Bush, head of Small Commercial and Personal Lines insurance. “As a leading provider of small business insurance, we also recognize the passion and dedication required for small business owners to succeed.”

This event will include new and returning vendors, along with two sound stages and a range of musical acts and live art demonstrations.

This event runs from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. both days and admission is free.
