Tickets for the Hartford Yard Goats’ 2025 season went on sale at 10 a.m. today, and the club has announced a schedule packed with new promotions and events.
The Yard Goats, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, play at Hartford’s Dunkin’ Park, which has been named the best minor league stadium in the country multiple times.
The Yard Goats’ opening game is at 7:10 p.m. April 4 against the New York Yankees’ affiliate, the Somerset Patriots. It will feature a celebration of the Yard Goats’ 10th anniversary along with fireworks.
The Yard Goats play under multiple identities, each with a unique uniform, including the Bouncing Pickles, Los Chivos de Hartford, Schoolboys and the Connecticut Yard Goats.
This year, two new identities will be added: the Hartford Thunder Chickens and the Hartford Leaf Peepers
The Hartford Thunder Chickens will debut their new logo, which includes a turkey illuminated by a flash of lightning, on May 29.
The Hartford Leaf Peepers – an homage to people who enjoy watching the leaves change color in the fall – is set for Sept. 3.
In addition, the Yard Goats will play as the Connecticut Yard Goats on April 18 and the Hartford Bouncing Pickles on July 30.
The eighth annual Whalers Alumni Weekend, scheduled for Aug. 2, will feature the Yard Goats wearing hockey-style uniforms in honor of Hartford’s former NHL franchise. Former Hartford Whalers players will be on hand.
The Yard Goats are also bringing back Bark in the Park – where fans can purchase a ticket for their dog to attend the game – on April 5.
The final regular season home game celebration will take place on Sept. 7.
The Yard Goats will host multiple heritage nights, theme nights, giveaways and pre-game shows, and will bring attention to many causes and community programs this year.

There will be fireworks all season long after every Saturday evening game, and on July 3 to celebrate Independence Day.
