The Hartford Yard Goats have partnered with two broadcasting companies that will carry the Double-A baseball team’s games on TV and radio, according to an announcement.

The Yard Goats, a minor league affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, play their home games at the highly acclaimed Dunkin’ Park in downtown Hartford.

NESN (New England Sports Network) will televise 39 live games from Dunkin’ Park this season. Of those, 28 games will appear on NESN+, NESN’s secondary channel, including tonight’s season opener, which starts at 7:10 p.m. against the New York Yankees’ affiliate, the Somerset Patriots, based in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

Eleven games will appear on NESN, with the first on Sunday, April 6.

Also, the Yard Goats team has partnered with Audacy for the second consecutive season to carry live radio broadcasts on WTIC Newstalk 1080 AM. Also, all home and road games will be available on the free Audacy app and on the Yard Goats’ website.

The Yard Goats broadcasting team of Jeff Dooley and Dan Lovallo will call the action on both the TV and radio formats.

On NESN, a pregame show will begin at the top of the hour, before a game.

Dooley, the voice of the Yard Goats, made his Major League Baseball debut in 2023 as a fill-in announcer for the Colorado Rockies. Lovallo is a well-known sports and news personality in Connecticut. The two have been broadcasting Hartford Yard Goats games since the inaugural season in 2016.

On WTIC, fans will be able to hear daily reports on “Brian & Company,” hosted by Brian Shactman, on weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
