Pittsburgh-based civil engineering firm PVE LLC has acquired TEC Engineering of Hartford.
In a statement, PVE said TEC will become the company’s new Hartford office, specializing in structural engineering and claim investigation services.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Officials with PVE said the expansion will offer local clients access to the firm’s multi-disciplinary services, IT resources and proprietary programs and its large team of civil engineers, geologists, architects, building information management specialists and other professionals.
PVE provides civil engineering, structural design, environmental, land planning, surveying, landscape architecture and inspection services. Aside from its new Hartford branch, it has offices in Pittsburg, New York City, Nashville, Austin, Houston, San Francisco and Poughkeepsie, New York.
