Harvard Pilgrim hosts service day at Hartford elementary school
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care of New England employees joined members of Hands on Hartford for an employee service day at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School in Hartford. More than 30 volunteers participated, helping to build a community garden, painting educational murals, and creating resources that promote fitness and nutrition. Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation presented the food pantry with a $1,000 grant to support their work.
