Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care centers have begun opening in southeast Connecticut, continuing an expansion that began in Greater Hartford last year and has grown to 10 locations in the metro area and Meriden.
Hartford HealthCare-Go Health opened a clinic in New London on Monday at 351 N. Frontage Road, and another will open March 19 in Norwich, 624 West Main St., Suite 140, Hartford HealthCare announced.
These are the latest in a plan to open as many as 15 urgent-care centers operated jointly by Hartford HealthCare and GoHealth Urgent Care, which manages close to 50 urgent-care centers in New York, the Portland, Ore., area and the San Francisco Bay Area.
After tha Norwich location opens, the Hartford HealthCare Medical Group Urgent Care location at 42 Town St., Suite 300, and Uncasville location at 80 Norwich-New London Turnpike will provide only primary-care services.
Another clinic is planned in Enfield, at 54 Hazard Ave., bringing the joint venture to 13 locations statewide.
