A 9,960-square-foot medical office building in West Hartford recently sold for $3.3 million.
The building on a half-acre of commercially zoned land at 939-941 Farmington Ave. was sold by 937-941 Farmington Avenue L.P. to 939 Farmington LLC in a deal recorded by the town Sept. 1.
The property currently hosts a Jefferson Radiology clinic. Jefferson Radiology is also listed on the return address for the selling LLC’s state business records.
Jefferson Radiology will continue to operate at the West Hartford location under a five-year lease with the new owners, with options to renew, according to Jon Pine, regional vice president of operations for Jefferson.
The buyer’s principals are David Raisner, Ronald Webber, Jason Raisner and Debbie Raisner Thompson. Their addresses are listed at a retail plaza in West Hartford in 939 Farmington LLC’s state business filing.
Attempts to reach members of the buying LLC were not immediately successful Friday morning.
David Raisner and Ronald Webber have been partnered on several purchases and projects in West Hartford and beyond.
Early this year, the pair purchased a 12,173-square-foot Bloomfield medical office building hosting a Hartford HealthCare affiliated cardiology practice. The pair were also approved last year to build a 17,000-square-foot medical building on South Main Street in West Hartford for use by Hartford HealthCare.
David Raisner and Ronald Webber were among four partners in the development of Gledhill Estates -- 15 upper-tier, single-family homes in West Hartford.
Lisa Sadinsky of Broder Commercial, the listing broker for 939-941 Farmington Ave., said calls started coming within hours of its listing and offers were received within the first week. The property closed with more than 50 inquiries and “multiple” offers, Sadinsky said.
Evan Berman, of Broder Commercial Real Estate, represented the buyer.
“It’s in a phenomenal location,” Sadinsky said. “It’s right in the heart of West Hartford Center and part of a special zoning designation by the town.”
