The historic Morton House in Niantic has sold for $3.2 million.
The hospitality property, at 215 Main St., was purchased on March 20 by ZDM Properties LLC, a limited liability company controlled by East Lyme resident and local developer David Preka, state and local property record shows.
The Morton House was built in 1868 and has been in operation for over a century, according to the website Historic Buildings of Connecticut. It currently offers weekly and monthly rentals and is attached to a restaurant.
The seller was Niantic Morton House LLC, which is controlled by Donald Mondani and Paul Breglio, of Cromwell and Mystic, respectively, state records show.
As of 2021, the property had an appraised value of $1.3 million, town records show.
