Housing program promotes Capital City homeownership

Four Hartford Hospital employees were recently awarded $10,000 in interest-free, forgivable loans to buy homes in the Capital City as part of a new Hartford Home Ownership Incentive Program. The program, started by the hospital, MetroHartford Alliance, the city of Hartford, and the Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance, provides financial incentives to hospital employees to purchase homes in Frog Hollow, Asylum Hill or other Hartford neighborhoods.
