What’s been your biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

My best professional accomplishment has been increasing the business revenue by $1.7 million from 2018 to 2019. I earned these results by improving the service levels for multiple vendors and manufacturing plants by 27% year over year, contributing to a more efficient supply chain process.

How are you involved in the community?

I am actively involved in advocating and promoting an equal and inclusive culture for people of different races, creeds, genders, socioeconomic circumstances and disabilities. I am an advocate for the Black Lives Matter initiative, to find a solution for the many atrocities that are impacting people of color in our nation.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I am collaborating with partners on several real estate ventures, involving the rehabilitation of properties located in Greater Hartford. The goal is to generate passive income, create generational wealth, and benefit the communities where the properties are located through increased property valuation.

How did dealing with the coronavirus pandemic help you grow as a leader?

Coping with the coronavirus pandemic has challenged me to be a more agile and flexible leader with regards to traversing adversity. When elements outside of my control impact my business and lifestyle, it’s on me to use the tools and resources available to execute creatively.

Four reasons why you deserve to be a 40 Under Forty:

Founded a consulting firm aimed at providing resources and support to retired veterans and ex-convicts who aim to transition into the workforce.

Led seven large-scale quality/rework initiatives valued at $95 million.

Optimized lead time to multiple at-risk promotional launches. Led expediting initiatives to efficient delivery of product, protecting the budget and prioritizing the year-end working capital.

I serve as a mentor to aspiring leaders within our community who are looking to grow professionally and personally.
