Jordan joins Day Pitney

William J. Jordan has joined Day Pitney as counsel in the law firm’s real estate and environmental practice. 

Jordan, who will be based in the firm’s Hartford office, focuses his practice on a wide range of real estate finance transactions, as well as the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial real estate.

Jordan joins the firm from Barings LLC, where he most recently served as associate general counsel and managing director. He previously held senior leadership roles at Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co., Cigna and other corporations.
