What's been the biggest professional accomplishment so far in your career?

I am most proud of the mentorship we provide to our assistant PGA professionals at The Hartford Golf Club. By providing them with the resources to learn and grow, many have become head golf professionals at facilities around the country. My proudest days over the past 10 years have been when one of my assistant PGA professionals finds out they have been hired as a PGA head professional. Watching their progress and development has given me immense satisfaction.

How are you involved in the community?

I am involved in the CT PGA Golf Foundation and currently serve as its president. The Foundation underwrites golf programs for juniors, disabled veterans, and physically or mentally handicapped individuals as well as the CT PGA Junior Tour, totaling over $100,000 per year.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I am a proud new dad to Piper Lou Connerton born on Halloween 2017. Together with my wife, Laura, and dog, Teddy, we enjoy evening walks in our neighborhood. Additionally, we love to vacation in Lake George each summer.

Give an example of a people-skills habit you adhere to in your work and daily life.

In every job 'people skills' are paramount. I adhere to the golden rule of treating others as you would like to be treated. I also strive to be genuine and engaged in every conversation.

What do you hope Greater Hartford will be like in 10 years?

It is my hope that Greater Hartford will continue its trajectory of growth over the next 10 years with businesses continuing to be attracted to the region.
