JPMorgan Chase plans new branch in New Britain

JPMorgan Chase is eyeing the city of New Britain for its latest Connecticut expansion. 

The banking giant, with $3.7 trillion in assets, plans to open a full-service branch in the Hardware City at the intersection of Columbus Boulevard and Chestnut Street, according to a filing with the federal Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. 

An exact location of the branch wasn’t immediately available.

JPMorgan Chase in recent months also announced or debuted new branches in Groton, East Hartford and Vernon, all part of a broader Greater Hartford and Connecticut expansion strategy.
