Q&A

At what age did you decide what you wanted to do with your career? 22. Prior to graduating from Fordham I knew I wanted to live in New York and was offered a tremendous opportunity to join The Sunshine Group LTD — the premier luxury real estate sales and marketing firm in New York City. I became captivated by the idea of contributing to the Manhattan skyline through new development projects and was inspired by the collaboration of architects, designers, creative agencies, developers and realtors. Real estate brought together my interests, passions and skill set, making it the perfect career.

How will you change the world? Passing on what I've learned from my many female mentors to other young women both professionally and personally. To follow your passion, let your voice be heard, take action, better your community and be a good friend.

If you could only have five stamps in your life passport, what would they be?

• Happily married to her high school sweetheart.

• Visited Maui 20 times.

• COO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties.

• Ran the New York City Marathon twice.

• Connecticut state senator and chair of Planning & Development.
