Viamedia, a Lexington, Kentucky-based cable TV and digital advertising company, has bought LocalFactor, a digital advertising company headquartered in Westport.
Viamedia and LocalFactor, which was founded in 2021, both announced the deal Monday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“By combining Viamedia’s extensive ad infrastructure with LocalFactor’s data-driven targeting, unique creative technology and programmatic expertise, we’ll bring you even stronger products and services,” said Evan Rutchik, LocalFactor’s founder and CEO.
Calls to LocalFactor were not immediately returned.
Rutchik has become the president and chief strategy office for Viamedia, reporting to CEO David Solomon. He will oversee LocalFactor’s operations and help drive Viamedia’s strategy, the company said in a news release.
“By combining LocalFactor’s expertise in omnichannel, locally optimized-data-driven digital campaigns with Viamedia’s expansive linear TV and digital ad infrastructure, we are creating a powerhouse in localized advertising—offering brands unmatched precision and reach across all channels,” Solomon said.
“Additionally, with the strength of LocalFactor’s sales organization, Viamedia’s video service provider partners will benefit from enhanced monetization opportunities and expanded access to top brands investing in premium video inventory.”
LocalFactor will keep its name as a division of Viamedia.
