A KeyBank location in Cheshire and two TD Bank branches in North Branford and Torrington, are slated to close, according to notices filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
The KeyBank branch at 1157 Highland Ave. will close June 6, according to a bank spokesperson. The branch had $51.7 million in deposits as of June 30, 2024, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. data.
The TD Bank branches at 1289 Foxon Road in North Branford, and at 215 High St. in Torrington Commons, will close on June 5, according to a spokesperson for the bank.
The North Branford branch had $117.9 million in deposits as of June 30, 2024, while the Torrington branch had $105.7 million in deposits, FDIC data shows.
Nationally, TD Bank is closing 38 branches on June 5. The closures will leave TD Bank with 54 locations in Connecticut. New Jersey-based TD Bank has more than 1,100 branches and 2,600 ATMs in the United States, primarily along the East Coast.
KeyBank, headquartered in Cleveland and with a presence in 15 states, operated 48 branches and held just over $5 billion in deposits in Connecticut as of June 30, 2024, FDIC data shows.
