Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder expands litigation team

Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder has hired two new attorneys: Kelly Fitzpatrick and Douglas P. Morabito, a longtime federal prosecutor.

Managing Partner James Horwitz said both have extensive litigation experience.
 
Fitzpatrick will focus on cases on behalf of plaintiffs injured by medical malpractice, pharmaceuticals or medical devices.

She has more than a decade of experience practicing law and has served on the Plaintiff's Steering Committee in Viagra and Cialis product liability litigation.

Douglas P. Morabito.

Morabito, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney with more than 20 years’ experience, has handled both civil and criminal matters at the trial and appellate courts.  As a prosecutor, he handled matters involving government contractor fraud, investor fraud, medical malpractice and various constitutional cases. 

At Koskoff, Morabito will focus on medical malpractice and product liability in both the state and federal courts.

The firm has offices in Bridgeport, New Haven and Danbury.
