It wouldn't be strange to hear someone describe me as very social. I try to engage people meaningfully in all situations. My professional connections are a side effect of good social behavior.
It's an honor to be the first person to hold the position of director of Marketing, Events and Cultural Affairs, (MECA) for the city of Hartford. This presents both a challenge and an opportunity. The challenge is to operate a new division in an environment that typically would resist change: that of municipal government. It is an opportunity because it allows me to mold a strategic direction for the division with the knowledge that there is support for the inclusion of programs that enhance the creative economy in Hartford.
Always be authentically you.
Meaningful purpose, deliberate effort, inspirational results.
