Lake Compounce announces new floating stage debuting next season

Though the cold weather is just arriving to the state, Lake Compounce is looking ahead to warmer days with the announcement of a new floating stage debuting during next year’s season.

Bristol’s Lake Compounce announced this week its new floating stage will be featured during the amusement park’s opening weekend on Memorial Day weekend next May. The stage on the lake will host the park’s lineup of live entertainment and music, according to park officials.

Before next year, though, Lake Compounce is set to host its Holiday Lights festival from Saturday through Dec. 31. This year is the program’s 10th season and longest yet, park officials said.

Paired with the floating stage announcement, Lake Compounce is launching an early Black Friday sale for discounted 2023 season passes available online.
