Lake Compounce is looking to hire more than 1,000 employees for its 2023 season, which the amusement park said will begin in late April.
Bristol’s Lake Compounce amusement park is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 29, the company announced. It will be the 177th season for the park that touts itself as the oldest continuously operating amusement park in the United States.
Lake Compounce officials said the park has already begun the hiring process for the 2023 season, which includes onboarding more than 1,000 employees across all positions. People as young as 16 years old can apply online, with pay up to $18 per hour.
The amusement park has already announced several new features for this year, including a floating lake stage for live concerts.
