Lake Compounce amusement park in Bristol is reviving its popular free soda promotion in time for this year’s Phantom Fall Fest.
Free soda will be available to all park visitors at numerous self-serve soda stations throughout the park now through Oct. 27, park officials announced this week. Free cups are also provided.
This is the first time the promotion has been offered since 2017 when the park ended the perk and only offered it to certain season-pass holders.
Free soda was a popular perk that started in 1999.
The Halloween-themed Phantom Fall Fest runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays now through Oct. 27, offering family-friendly activities in the afternoon hours.
After 6 p.m., scarier rides and attractions come to life, including Halloween-themed food and drinks, including beverages for those 21 and over, and a zombie hoard that roams through the park.
Lake Compounce is one of the oldest amusement and water parks, dating back to 1846.
