Nearly 100 attorneys from Shipman & Goodwin LLP recently donned T-shirts and jeans, grabbed paintbrushes and shovels, and spent an afternoon painting and landscaping school grounds at Martin Luther King Elementary School in Hartford. The “Lawyers’ Retreat” is the firm’s annual public service event where attorneys from all four of its Connecticut offices — Hartford, Greenwich, Stamford and Kent — work together on a single project in the community.
