Legrand North America to acquire Colo. co.

Legrand North America has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pinnacle Architectural Lighting, a manufacturer of lighting fixtures and architectural systems for commercial, educational, and healthcare applications.

No details were disclosed.

The West Hartford company said in a statement the addition of Pinnacle’s products and expertise will expand Legrand’s lighting and building control capabilities, establishing it as a major provider of architectural lighting. It said this market continues to grow as digital technology transforms product offerings.

Legrand and Pinnacle, based in Denver, Colo., expect to complete the transaction within the next two months, upon fulfillment of closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals.
