Linen service company buys East Haven warehouse for relocation, expansion

An East Haven warehouse has been sold to a linen service company that is relocating from nearby West Haven.

Spotless Linens LLC bought the property at 133 Commerce St., East Haven, from A&G Developments LLC for $1.35 million in a deal recorded July 10.

Spotless had been leasing space in West Haven for roughly five years, but will soon move into its own, larger 18,000-square-foot space in East Haven, according to Coldwell Banker Realtor Joe Scarpellino, who represented both the seller and the buyer. 

A&G Development bought the property for $650,000 in August 2020, according to city land records. The warehouse had been leased by a gluten-free food company, but was vacant for a year, Scarpellino said.

Spotless will make some capital investment and renovations to the building before moving in by early fall.
