Littler, an employment and labor law practice, has added Paula N. Anthony as a shareholder in its New Haven office.
Anthony comes to Littler from Berchem Moses, where she had been a partner. She is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York. Her background also includes working as an assistant corporation counsel for the city of Waterbury.
Anthony defends employers in litigation matters, mediations and arbitrations. She also regularly conducts workplace investigations and provides counsel on various employment-related matters, such as hiring, personnel, terminations and separation agreements.
Lori Alexander, Littler’s office managing shareholder in New Haven, said the firm’s clients will benefit from Anthony’s knowledge and roots in the community.
“Not only does she know the ins-and-outs of the Connecticut court system and various state agencies, but she can effectively guide management through each phase of the employment cycle – from pre-employment matters to separation agreements,” Alexander said.
