Hartford Bonanza 2024, the free Independence Day celebration featuring entertainment in Bushnell Park, is set for Saturday, July 6, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event is within walking distance to the train station, Capitol building and an array of local restaurants and businesses.
FOX61/CW20 will broadcast the final two hours live for viewers at home.
Hartford Bonanza will feature live music, artisans and family-friendly activities. A fireworks show starting at 10 p.m. will cap off the evening.
This year’s Hartford Bonanza will include four live music performances, more than 30 local vendors, over a dozen food trucks and two beer gardens.
Hartford DJs Sonia Sol and Eric Otero will perform, along with local musicians Natasha Ramos and Nelson Bello.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.
The event is organized and staged by First Night Hartford Inc.
