Local attorney to lead national foundation's board

A partner at the Bridgeport-based law firm of Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder has been named president-elect of the national Public Justice Foundation’s board.

Preston C. Tisdale, a Trumbull resident, has been an active leader with the foundation for several years. 

“We are all proud of Preston’s ongoing commitment to social justice,” said James Horwitz, managing partner at Koskoff. “He has a long history of fighting for justice, particularly for those who are typically underserved.”

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the Public Justice Foundation is involved in civil rights cases, anti-bullying campaigns, consumer rights, gender and sexual rights cases, and more. Tisdale will assume the presidency in July 2023

Frank Giner

Frank Giner joins Union Savings Bank

Frank Giner has joined Danbury-based Union Savings Bank as a residential mortgage loan originator.

Giner will be responsible for educating existing and prospective customers about available mortgage products and guiding them throughout the lending process.

Giner, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, will work out of the Danbury branch located at 126 North Street.

Giner, a lifelong resident of Danbury, brings over 20 years of banking experience in residential lending to his new position. He most recently worked as a mortgage loan originator at  Northpointe Bank in Danbury.

Robert Monti, senior vice president, residential and consumer lending, said in an announcement, “We will rely on him to help our customers navigate through all aspects of the residential lending process and make sure they have the best loan for their situations, including first time home buyer and FHA loans. He will also help us better serve our Spanish-speaking community.”
