Leslie McKillip recently started working at Essex Savings Bank as vice president, commercial loan officer.
McKillip, a Madison resident, has nearly three decades of commercial lending experience along the Shoreline, and she has worked in New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties.
McKillip’s most recent role had been with Chelsea Groton Bank. During her career, she has also worked at Liberty Bank, J. P. Morgan Chase, Citizens and First Union Bank.
Diane H. Arnold, president & CEO of Essex Savings Bank, said of McKillip, “Her lending experience in the commercial sector and understanding of our community and customers makes her a valuable asset and a welcomed officer to our team.”
Essex Savings Bank has six offices, including two in Essex, and single locations in Chester, Madison, Old Lyme and Old Saybrook.

Orange-based utility company Avangrid Inc. has appointed Kimberly Harriman as senior vice president, state government affairs and corporate communications.
Harriman reports directly to company CEO Pedro Azagra.
“I’m pleased to welcome Kim into our executive team and expect her leadership to further drive our strategic communications and state government affairs efforts across our businesses,” Azagra said, in an announcement.
In this role, Harriman will lead internal and external communications for the company. She will also maintain oversight of state government relations and public affairs.
Before joining Avangrid in late 2020, Harriman worked for the New York Power Authority, the New York State Department of Public Service, the New York State Office of the Governor, and NY’s Moreland Commission – Utility Storm Preparation and Response.
