A developer is proposing a 28-unit multifamily luxury development on a 9.6-acre property in Bloomfield near the West Hartford line.
The development, which consists of townhouse-style units, is being proposed by Tecca Ventures LLC, based in West Hartford.
The property, at 140-142 Still Road, is owned by Bottom of the Ninth LLC. The site is mostly undeveloped wooded land.
Tecca Ventures is controlled by David Raisner and Ronald Webber, who also developed Gledhill Estates – 15 upper-tier, single-family homes in West Hartford.
Also, Raisner, Webber and two other partners recently purchased a 9,960-square-foot medical office building at 939 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford for $3.3 million.
The proposed development is adjacent to Still Mountain Estates and is located just north of West Hartford’s Wampanoag Country Club.
A total of 85 parking spaces are proposed.
The developer is seeking to rezone the property from an R-40 single-family residential district to Planned Luxury Residential.
The town’s Planning and Zoning Commission is expected to consider the zone change request at its meeting next month.
