A former Manchester bank branch, which had been slated for a conversion to apartments, has been sold for $450,000, land records show.
The 2,861-square-foot building, at 14 North Main St., formerly home to Bank of America, sold earlier this month to Shamsa Lutaf, land records show.
The seller was 3 Squared LLC, which is controlled by Nicholas Martino and Louis Roy Evjen, of Southington, and Isaac Shweky, of Cheshire.
The 1.24 acre property in 2024 was approved by the town for a mixed-use, 33-unit luxury apartment complex, but that project never materialized under its previous owner.
Gary Anderson, Manchester’s economic development director, said “the new owner has conveyed to our staff they plan on developing the site according to the approved plans. We look forward to seeing this important gateway parcel developed.”
The property is located about 2 miles away from another Manchester site, at 942 Main St., that is also being eyed for a mixed-use development.
Evjen Agency in Southington was the listing broker.
