Manchester car wash property sells for $2.19 million

A nearly one-eighth acre Manchester property hosting a car wash sold for $2.19 million in January.

The property and 4,446-square-foot car wash building at 672 Hartford Road was sold by 1852 CT OPCO LLC, which is controlled by Brendan Johnson, who has a Darien, Connecticut business address.

The buyer was BW Manchester RE LLC.

The seller paid $392,000 for the property in 2018, according to town assessing records.
