A Manchester hotel has traded hands for $8 million.
Dallas-based Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. announced this week that it sold the 90-room Courtyard Hartford Manchester hotel, at 225 Slater St.
The publicly traded real estate investment trust originally purchased the hotel in 2001 for $8.6 million, town records show.
According to Ashford Hospitality, at the time of the sale, the property had a mortgage loan with an outstanding balance of approximately $5.6 million.
As of Wednesday morning, the sale had not been recorded in land or property records, so the buyer is unknown. The hotel property was built in 1996 and includes 51,136 square feet, including 648 square feet of meeting space. The 2.3 acre property also has 98 parking spaces, records show.
