McMillen joins Bristol medical group

Marvin McMillen has been named medical director of surgical services at Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group, Inc.

Dr. McMillen also is an attending critical care physician in the Intensive Care Unit, where he provides clinical general surgery coverage, and he supervises the physician assistants in the Division of General Surgery.

Dr. McMillen comes to Bristol Hospital from Beth Israel Medical Center where he served as chief of the Division of Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery.

He completed his surgical training at SUNY Buffalo and at the University of Minnesota. Dr. McMillen completed his critical care training at the University of Minnesota, and his internal medicine training at SUNY Buffalo and Yale University. He received his medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and he received his bachelor's degree SUNY Buffalo as well.
